Are You Eligible for the Ford Privilege Scheme?

If you fall into one of the following categories of people, then you can use the Ford Privilege Scheme to purchase up to five Ford vehicles within a nine-month period at a reduced price under the Ford Privilege Scheme.

Currently employed staff of the Ford Motor Company or an affiliated company
Pensioners who receive a pension from the Ford Motor Company or an affiliated company
Relatives of employed staff of the Ford Motor Company or an affiliated company

How to Get a Ford Employee Discount Voucher

You must first register your intent to use your Ford Privilege entitlement before you can make a purchase under the Ford Privilege Voucher Scheme.

To be eligible, employees must bear in mind the following:

Employees can only use the Ford Privilege Scheme after one month's service
Employees can nominate relatives and friends to use the Ford Privilege Scheme or the Ford Ambassador Programme
Employees can only buy up to five Ford vehicles within a nine-month period between themselves and their beneficiaries on the Ford Privilege Scheme
Employees can only buy up to three Ford vehicles within a nine-month period between themselves and their beneficiaries on the Ford Ambassador Programme

Are You Eligible for the
Ford Ambassador Programme?

As an employee, pensioner or beneficiary of Ford Motor Company Limited (incl. Getrag Ford Transmissions) or Ford Financial (incl. Ford Credit) who is fully eligible for the Ford Privilege Scheme, you are eligible for the Ford Ambassador Programme.

The Ford Ambassador Programme means that you can nominate individuals (including friends, members of your extended family, colleagues, neighbours or someone else you know) for a Ford Ambassador Voucher to get an amazing discount when buying a new Ford vehicle.

To be eligible, nominated individuals must…

own a non-Ford vehicle for a minimum of 3 months; or

own a Ford vehicle which is a minimum of 2 years old from date of first registration (or if purchased used, of any age); or

have had the benefit of a company car, within the prior 3 months, which will no longer continue

The following Privilege-qualifying relatives are NOT eligible to purchase a vehicle through the Ford Ambassador Programme as they already qualify to buy via the Privilege Scheme.

How to Use the Ford Ambassador Programme

You can get approval for buying a vehicle through the Ford Ambassador Programme from HR Online by following the link for the Ambassador Programme. You will need to give them your Ford ID number in addition to security information to confirm your identity. Only employees entitled to use the Ford Ambassador Programme are allowed to make the request.

Once you have received approval, both you and the customer you have nominated will get a letter to confirm the entitlement voucher. When you visit an Allen Ford, Essex Ford or SMC Ford dealership, the customer should present a valid UK driving licence that confirms both name and address to be the same as that in the original request. To allow staff at the dealership to find the Ford Ambassador Programme entitlement easily, the customer should quote the Customer Identification Number that will be supplied in the confirmation letter.
